The Terroir "Grangeneuve de la Famille Bernard" located at the extreme limit of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, and benefiting from the same terroir, shows us all its potential through this cuvée. This historic family vineyard, part of the plots acquired in 1794, introduces all amateurs to the fabulous local terroir.

Vineyard's Situation:

  • Adjoining the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation area, more exactly between the city of Orange and the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. It therefore benefits from an exceptional terroir on alluvial terraces of rolled pebbles and red clay.

Farming Mode:

  • High environmental value certification:: respect and preservation of biodiversity, protection of the vineyard by Bio-control methods.

Vinification Mode:

  • Complete de-stemming of the bunches and fermentation maceration for 12 to 15 days. Partial aging in French oak barrels for 6 to 12 months.
  • Serve between 16 and 18 ° C
  • Eye: cherry red color with ruby ​​reflections
  • Nose: complex and intense, it mixes the aromas of ripe red fruits (black cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant…) with notes of liquorice, undergrowth and vanilla
  • Palate: rich and balanced, with aromas of ripe fruit and supple and well-structured tannins. We find at the end of the mouth some peppery notes and a very good aromatic persistence
